clinicians and researchers throughout Europe are involved in a study concerning the
clinical epidemiology on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). The primary aim was to
establish population-based incidence rates in 12 European countries. Today, this large
scale project addresses topics as the natural course of IBD, extraintestinal
manifestations, markers of dysplasia, user-friendly communication, quality of life and
quality of health care. Improvement of knowledge, common learning goals and mutual
understanding are important drives of this unique group. |
